I’m a London-based, award-winning beauty journalist and former Refinery29 UK/US Beauty Director. You might have come across my work in GLAMOUR, EE72, ELLEUK.com, Harper’s Bazaar, Stylist, Popsugar UK or Metro — and even if you haven’t read my byline, you’ve probably heard my words. I coined terms like “skin flooding”, “cloud skin” and the “J-shape haircut”, and my work has been recognised with the Johnson & Johnson Award for Best Beauty Shoot and the Skin Cancer Foundation’s Media Impact Award.

I live and breathe beauty — but never the superficial kind. I’m known for my hot takes, my willingness to go deeper and my habit of tackling the stories most beauty editors tiptoe around. If you’re thinking it, I’m writing it. Pieces like “What Went Wrong At Glossier?”, “What It’s Like To Work At The ‘Cult Of Lush’” and “Does My Nail Tech Hate Me?” give you a sense of what to expect. This space is where I’ll dive into beauty in all its forms — products, ideals, culture — and also the beauty hiding in everything else, from homeware to handbags and beyond.
